A bound collection of color plates and engravings from these two early periodicals. The first half consists of 64 color chromolithographs, all printed on one side, most with blank sheets between them. Most are floral and plant designs, some vegetables. A few appear to be seed pack proofs. Most are credited to Vick's Monthly.The second half are all b&w engravings from The Ladie's Repository Magazine. Book is half leather with raised bands on spine. Front fly leaf detached, previous owner's lettered bookmark pasted to inside front cover, otherwise very good, very light foxing to b&w plates, none to color.
